Foreign Exchange Transaction

I was at the Hibernia Street, George branch on Monday morning (19/02/2018) to do a gift transfer to Australia at the Foreign Exchange counter. I was the first client at the counter. The young lady took my application and advised that it would be captured later. I was quite surprised as, in my experience, these transactions are usually captured straight away and the client walks out with their relevant customer advice / receipt. I was advised that it would be e-mailed to me. As of this morning I still have heard nothing regarding my transaction and have yet to receive my receipt. Phone calls to the department go unanswered. Looking back at the interaction with your staff member yesterday morning - I find it odd that, if the transaction couldn't be captured straight away, I wasn't even offered a stamped copy of my Foreign Exchange application form. Has my transaction been effected? When can I expect my remittance advice?

I had a call this morning from the Team Leader Foreign Exchange at the George branch. She apologized for the delay in e-mailing my remittance slip and also explained the procedure of how these transactions are dealt at their branch. I'm happy with the outcome - thank you!
