Fix your system before harassing customers

This morning I received an aggresive sms telling me that my home loan account is in arrears and I should call std bank urgently. Before doing that I checked my current account, and the debit order went off this morning (as scheduled). When I phoned the call center, Khanyiso confirmed that my current account had been debited but that the 'system' was just slow reflecting it on the home loan side. Before sending rude messages to your customers, maybe you should make sure that its not a fault on your side, so that you don't cause them undue stress and waste their time?

Is anybody ever actually going to get hold of me about this?
Is anybody ever actually going to get hold of me about this?
Although somebody did try get hold of me this morning I was unfortunately unavailble at the time. I called the call center, and was eventually put through to the complaints agent. the line dropped and they called me back on my cell, and I asked to be called on my landline because I have terrible reception at work. Aftr confirming my number, the agent said she would call right back. 2 hours later she eventually called back. In the meantime i received another sms telling me that my account is again in arrears. When I eventually get called back I'm told that my account is R1.45 in arrears (after the debit order went through on the 14th). When I asked why the debit order is going through for R1.45 less than the amount due, I was put on hold for ages. Eventually the agent came back and said "I've been through your account with my supervisor and the error is on our side" . Great, except that I've spent most of my morning on hold with your various call centers. She's promised that it won't happen again. but this is the 3rd month in a row that its happened so I'm not holding my breath.
