First time home buyers worst nightmare.

First time home buyers worst nightmare. OTP was signed 13th September 2019, at the Conveyancers. Deeds office by December 2019, with only rates and taxes clearance certificate and BC Clearance cert. The lawyers managed push the deal through on just 2 clearance certificates instead of the required 5. This is very scary in itself. Due to the old system of having the electricity account separate from the rates and taxes account. Then the Electricity account of R250 000 was discovered, when we tried to apply for a municipal pre-paid meter. Munic advised that the account would become due for payment by the new owners within 3 to 6 months of registration. Due to this advice, we asked that it be put on hold till munic account was settled, and all the clearance certificates are obtained. Now in July we discover that 5 clearance certificates are needed for a BC property. The most worrying part of this whole process is the bank appointed lawyer and the Forced upon Conveyancer, not one of them exercised due diligence, even though they are paid huge sums of money. Since Dec 2019 the bank has received more emails than what i can count, Home Loans has not responded to one email, and complaints has yet to phone me to get the full story, they just email past me. both lawyers then tried to say it is the buyers fault, and there is wastage fees incurred. Once I as buyer stood up for my rights, and that i refused to pay anything further, then the service levels dropped to nothing. We were threatened with Breach of contract, as in January we had not yet paid the conveyance, but no services have been rendered either. Then we paid, and still no services. Because we were left to our own devices, we then had to roll up our sleeves, and do all the hard work ourselves, and get lawyers to assist us, as Standard Bank does not know how to support the client that is paying them R25 000 in lawyers fees and R600 000 interest over the next 20 years. We are now in month 10 of the process, the process is continually being extended by the lawyers and the Bank but for what reason. The municipal account needs to be paid by the seller. The bank is turning a blind eye. Seems like the complaints department is hoping the problem dissapears, while i have been in a financial prison for the last 10 months, with no hope of a light at the end of this horror show. Cancellation from my side would have a gigantic financial impact on me, but why should i if i am not at fault, why are the lawyers not there to assist and guide, instead of seeing them as cash ***s as people withdraw from contracts, the get hit with fees. I cannot even lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman as Standard has failed to provide me with a reference number for my complaint that i lodged with them in December and in January. Actions like this is why people lose their dreams of owning a property, due to people greed and selfishness. Bond Acc ***.

Still no feedback. And no resolution. nothing...
how much longer must i wait, i am in month 12.
you need to exert pressure on someone to do their job, as the lawyers YOU chose that I MUST PAY, are not doing their job EITHER.
Who ever is in charge of the authorization of the registration on the banks side, i want to have a conversation with them as they need to hear me. i want a name
