Finance rejected- credit card closed

Finance rejected: I app**** for finance at Standard bank and was rejected because apparently I owe them monies for a credit (which has been closed for months). I app**** for a credit card November 2014- the card was only for positive balance. But when I realised that the bank still charges fees for a positive balance I informed the bank via e-mail to close the account with immediate effect. This was done January 2015. A call centre agent called to finalise the closre of the card.. He informed me that the account has been closed. Earlier this week I app**** for financing and Standard Bank rejected me because according to them I owe them R109.84. My name are being dragged to the mud. I demand that this be rectified immediately and I want a written apology!
