final progress payment still not paid

I put through all correct docs on 22 Dec for final progress payment. The assessor was here on 24 Dec. It is now the 4th of Jan and I have made numerous phone calls. Escalated the matter and we still have no payment. This entire experience with Standard Bank had been pathetic and I will not make use of them again. Building is a very stressful process without having to contend with *********** people regarding payments. We have been hounded by contractors the entire holiday and I have still not received any response from Standard Bank, despite escalating the matter twice. Nothing is done unless I call them. Sick and tired of this now. If I can offer anyone any advise. Don't use Standard Bank for a building loan. Nothing but trouble.
