FICA for a UK resident! Really Standard Bank?

I moved to the UK a year ago. I have not been able to pay my credit card with Standard bank as they have frozen my account due a random request for FICA documents. I no longer reside in South Africa and live permanently in the UK. I have explained this to Standard bank via numerous avenues (call centre, Facebook, e-mails, web site complaint form) and NO ONE has the ability to sort this out for me. Its ludicrous and ridiculous that i live in the UK and cannot access my account to pay my credit card. I now have lawyers sending me letters saying i will be listed if i don't pay it BUT i cant, because of Standard Bank's incompetence. Its crazy they want me to pay and account but have frozen the very account which has funds in it. Idiotic bank with the worst service ever. Standard Bank is the one thing i will NEVER miss about South Africa. It's theft in actual fact as you are holding onto funds which are not yours and should be available to me.
