Faulty ATMs

This evening I'm at Gugulethu mall using one of the standard bank ATMs I always use to withdraw cash. I insert my card and do the procedure as to withdraw. While waiting (expecting my money to come out) the atm screen reads as follows: "your transaction has been canceled" and then my card comes out with the slip following as it also states that my transaction has been canceled due to insufficient funds. Shocked! I review my available balance which states there is money in my account. Now with confusion of how does it claim I don't have funds when the balance says there's money. I insert the card again because balance review showed there is money. Still, it says I have insufficient funds. As getting more astonished and angry because I need the cash urgently for a serious matter. I do another balance check which now states that there is no funds. How? I don't know and at that time the banks are closed and there's actually no one to assist me with matter at the moment. I have bank sms notifications that notify me with every transaction that occurs in my bank account and earlier on to prove that there's nothing wrong with my card and sms, the transaction went through with no problem. Now I as a customer/client, I have to stay stressed and unaware of what other problems will happen with these faulty ATMs until the day/whenever the bank opens. Disappointed and angry, I think standard bank needs to have a toll free line, I could've at least called in customer service at that moment. My serious needs of the cash now have to wait, in actually fact be delayed in every manner. I can't describe how I feel right now. I'm everything negative, Standard Bank!
