failure to provide services
On the 13th of Jan the guardian of Sphosethu whose trust fund is with stanlib sent required documents for the Trust to make payment to the school. The child's (Sphosethu) finances have since been managed by the Trust since the passing of her mother in 2001. The child was then under the care of her martenal granny who has been in contact with the Trust. Since the beginning of this year the granny has been trying to get the Trust to pay the fees and since they have failed the recent contact was on the 9th of March where she spoke to Yolanda who reported to her that they have lost the child's file but they will contact her in a day and pay the school fees of which until now the haven't. Again in January the guardian had to pay R2500 at school for admission of which she had borrowed and again has not replaced the money. The school has since sent her a notice notifying her that she is behind with payments and in turn this has caused stress to her and to the child in question. The guardian has been calling the Trust and is being sent from pillar to post yet with no assistance. No one has contacted her to ask if she needs to send more documents or not or how far they are resolving this.
