Good day,

We contacted the Complaint Resolution Center.

CR Center advised us to call Internet banking.

They told us to go to a branch, as they can not assist us telephonically.

No joy.

I invite anyone to call a Standard Bank telephone line ( except the CR Center )and see how long it takes for someone to answer. ( 10 minutes + )

Whilst in this process of trying to solve our issue, Standard Bank contacted my wife and wanted to sell her new products.

She asked them for assistance and they told her someone from the bank will call her shortly. ( never happened )

We went to the Standard Bank branch in Lambton and resolved the issue.

Assistant at the branch couldn't believe we have been advised to go to the branch.

Issue resolved.

Thank you Hellopeter for assisting.

Kind regards,

Quentin Gerber

Dear Complaint Resolution Centre,

Thank you for your response.

Referring to your e-mail, please note that i thanked HelloPeter for "applying enough pressure" to get

Standard Bank to respond.

Have you ( the writer of e-mail from Standard Bank ? ) ever had to make payments on month-end, without internet banking access?

We expected the bank to resolve our issue(s) promptly.

We did not send you an e-mail, as we called the CR Centre... ( rest of the story can be read in my previous response )

I asked to speak with Serisha Nagan ( Name on e-mail ) and was unable to speak with her.

Please also not that your are still awaiting response via e-mail ( to assist )

Have you not read that the issue had already been resolved at your Lambton branch?

Regards,

Quentin Gerber

Good day Quentin

Thank you for your response.

Please note that we have read the above response and have noted that the issue with Internet banking and debit card has been resolved.

However please note that we are unable to resolve the service breakdown issue without an ID or account number to log a formal complaint and generate a reference number.

Please advise us if this matter can be closed or if you would like the service breakdown to be addressed.

If so, kindly respond to the email requesting additional information, alternatively you are welcome to send the details via private message on Hello Peter.

Best regards
