Extremely dissatisfied with standard bank

Account *** I have been paying off an overdraft of R2000 for 2 years with no resolve. I don't understand please help me as I don't see how an unemployed individual who is trying to settle an outstanding balance even after increasing the monthly repayments sees no difference in the outstanding value as account fees are still being deducted on an account that has not been used in 3 years!
