******ionate charge for archived statements??

<p>I'm trying to get hold of 2 months of archived statements from my Standard Bank account but I was told that this would cost me R1200, as it was in 2012, and apparently it's not done per page, but by how far back you have to go!</p> <p>Absa simply charge per page, regardless of how far back, and to get a few months of archived statements printed by Absa only cost me about R250.</p> <p>I feel as if I must've been given wrong information as this is ******ionate and I only want a few months, not the whole 4 years of transactions!</p> <p>Please could someone clarify this and if it's true I'd really like to know the costs involved for Standard Bank in retrieving these statements as I suspect it literally costs nothing, and to charge that much is ridiculous!</p>
