Empty promises and lack of Truth

Stay away from Standard Bank. Run to Any other Bank but these guys. I was happy on my Prestige account when Siya Kgalifa called me and offered to upgrade my account. After numerous times resisting, shared what I wanted to achieve and he assured me they would be able to assist and walk this journey with me. Long story short, nothing promised was ever achieved. From a face to face meeting to going through my finances to cancelling a *****ulent transaction that is Still going off my account today, to still being charged fees for an a private account and overdraft facility that I Never asked for. It has been over months that I asked the account be closed, instead I get told I need to clear the negatives and first. (all caused by their fees and not cancelling the account as I requested). I will Never trust Standard Bank with anything pertaining to my finances. After being with them for over 7 years, they have left a permanent sour taste in my mouth. As it stands, my account reflects a minus of almost R4000 all made up of daily and monthly charges on an account I requested be closed months ago.
