Eft transactional *****

on Friday the 16 December we did an eft payment for a pet from Cape Town. We did reference checks and proceeded with payment. However following the payment he seller switched off her phone and we realized it was a ****. I phoned the bank and spoke to Adam Moses who instructed me to do an affidavit and all proof of the advert and other info to be sent in. He also assured me that as the funds had not yet cleared that Absa would put a hold on the account so they couldn't draw the funds and that I should be able to be reimbursed my hard earned money of R4000. Then after I sent it I phoned and held on for over 3 hours with no answer to my call. Today I phoned the line 3 times and was told the lady dealing with my case was not available and she would call me back. A consultant by the name of Jonathan was very kind and assisting but as yet I still have not heard any feed back on the matter ?
