Double billing

I had a cheque account with Standard bank and I opted to change to another bank. I informed my new bank to change all my debits to them and that was not properly implemented which then made the said debits to bounce. The account remained valid as I did not close it. Standard bank then handed the said account to BD Attorneys for collection of fees which accumulated due to lack of funds.

I made arrangement with BD Attorneys to pay the money and in August 2017 I settled the balance. I requested a paid up letter which I have not received to date. On the 17th of November 2017 I received a call from other Attorneys indicated that Standard bank has handed me to them for collection of the money owed on the same account. which I was following by sms on the 24th November 2017 from NDS Credit Management indicating that my Standard bank account is overdue.

I need Standard Bank to address this matter and provide me with a paid up letter.

To date the bank has not resolve this matter in that no contact was made with me whatsoever and today I have received a hangover letter from NDS with this reference number ********** - ********** -NDSSBSAC-2017. Standard bank sort out this mess.
