Don't keep your Will with Standard Bank

My late grandmother kept her Will with SB and also nominated them as her executors. To say this was a mistake is a huge understatement. My granny passed last year May, and we started the process around June/July and we are nowhere near done. I understand there's a lot of backlog with the state but the SB reps have been the worst. They don't share full info. You ask them something, they can either respond immediately, in 2 weeks or a month, or only respond once you follow up with them. Sometimes they'll ask for the same thing over and over again- I even share screenshots showing that I've answered that question already. They aren't proactive at all, it's like a mickey mouse operation, surely they have a checklist of things that need to be done and how to follow up on them? Or maybe it's just a way to drag out this process to make as much money as possible? I have heard so many horror stories of families struggling with SB's Will's department and I'm definitely there. And it's so triggering because they're making the process like drawing blood from a stone on top of also grieving. Do not keep your Will with SB or nominate them as your executors. The consultant I've been dealing with has been highly frustrating, and good luck with escalating because the whole department is in on it. For shame Standard Bank.
