Don’t join this bank. Run away as a fast as you can!
Since they decided to reduce staff a while ago, this bank is the most useless in the country. They don’t reply to emails, they don’t solve online payment issues, they don’t call back as promised. My advice to anyone looking for a bank: Don’t pick Standard. Read the other comments on hellopeter. Then Run away as fast as you can!!

I have been living outside SA for 6 years and your service became so bad that I have sold my house and my car here, just so that I don’t have to deal with you. Anyway, I’ve already spoke to Investec today. I’ll be moving my accounts there soon.
