Don't do home loans through Standard Bank, they finance homes that are not built correctly.

According to Standard Bank insurance, Standard Bank finances houses that are not architecturally sound. I found this very interesting and hope no one else falls into the same pit I have fallen into, Before Standard Bank insurance even came to view the damages to my home they said they would not be covering damages due to unsound building. How is it that the finance would be approved if the building was unsound. Surely if this was a concern the bank had they would have asked for additional information regarding the house and not just financed it. Very disappointed with Standard Bank.
