DONT BANK WITU STANDARD BANK

DONT BANK WITH STANDARD BANK I was recently involved in a telephonic **** in July. These ****mers had all of my banking information - name , ID number , knowledge of my accounts and money in respective accounts . Once I realised that that it was a **** I contacted the bank. My accounts were blocked and cards cancelled etc. I was then instructed to open up a case at the police station. Before this could even be done , without any input from me at all, Standard Bank closed my case.

There was an email sent to me from someone asking when would be a good time to contacted directly , regarding the outcome of the case. I rep**** and was never contacted. I have since sent multiple emails and escalated this matter to no avail.

No one from standard bank has had the decency to follow up with me . Some of the email addresses even came back as invalid (copied directly). I have also been contacted 3 times more by the same people with all my information .

Standard banks lack of response leads me to believe there is something nefarious going on as my information has been clearly compromised and no one seems to be paying attention to the matter in the least .

I also work 2 jobs and I don’t have the time to sit on the phone for long periods of time , we all have jobs and a responsibility to fulfil our duties . Standard bank lacks professionalism and customer care. I have been banking with them for almost 10 years and the quality of the services provided are honestly pathetic.

I don’t feel safe with this bank and will be taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointing
