Does STD Bank ever follow their processes?

I was not contacted by the bank and according to Muaaz Jogee, it is a process that I should receive a call from them so that I can negotiate the rate with them STD Bank as soon as a loan has been approved (I only received an sms of approval and not a call regarding the approval).
