***** VEHICLE REPOSSESSION
Standard Bank has appointed a collections agency to repossess my mothers vehicle, she found out today that judgement was taken against her in 2014 WHEN HER ACCOUNT WAS UP TO DATE. Early 2014 we contacted 6 different Standard Bank representatives and faxed as well as mailed proof of payments on the 03/02 to the value of R7500 for outstanding amount. Judgement was taken in June after the account was paid up to date. ATTORNEYS NEVER CONTACTED HER?
Short payment of R500 was made for the past 10 months which resulted in a arrear amount of R3430,38, monthly installment is R2568,78? surely one does not repossess a vehicle for an installment amount arrears less than two months?
Upon contacting Standard Bank we were unable to get any information, they simply refuse to give the attorney details which handled the account and referred us to the collections agency whom advised us that they have NO account information and that the full outstanding amount must be paid before Monday, surely a client is entitled to a statement summarizing the calculations? Standard Bank is also not prepared to furnish attorney details after numerous requests and demanded our attorney's details.
