***** Call Centre

After returning a call from a standard call centre regarding a written off debt which I was told about when I called the number. I then spoke to a guy called (Mpho) who was very unhelpful and rude as I asked him for his full name & surname and to send me a sms with the call reference as I did understand why after so many years standard bank would collect on a prescribed debt. He was quick to shout! at me and tell me that they do not deal with sms nor reference numbers but he wanted me write down banking details to make a payment into to pay 200k+ . Why would standard bank collections department not issue reference numbers and send Sms to confirm whatever arrangements they make with their clients. That call seemed very ***** !! to say the least.
