Do Standard Bank have a conscience?
Do Standard Bank have any social conscience? My bank account went into arrears over lock down by about R1500 for 4 days. Because one of my debit orders was charged late due to lockdown. I haven't had an arrears on my account for maybe 5 years. They quickly charged me an overdraft fee, interest and a penalty. I wonder how many other people have been charged in a similar circumstances? Standard Bank have clearly made money from the covid 19 pandemic. Not really what you would call a united front more like look after number one.
