DO NOT UNDERMINE MY INTELLIGENCE BY REFERRING ME TO THE USER MANUAL

It would he highly appreciated if you trained your staff properly if they are to deal with complaint resolution. My initial complaint reference ********** 934 refers. A certain Serisha Nagan responded to my complaint as follows: “Please note that each phone is unique by brand. The app doesn’t determine where the fingerprint sensor is. It is the sensor that came with the phone. Kindly refer to the manual of your phone to see where the sensor is located on your phone”. Does Serisha Nagan even know how the Standard Bank mobile app works? Let me explain how your mobile application looked BEFORE I changed my phone to a Huawei P30 Pro. Note that I use my fingerprint to logon to your mobile app. So… You launch the Standard Bank mobile app and touch the “SIGN IN” button. Then the app displays the following message: “FINGERPRINT – Use your fingerprint to continue. Put finger on sensor.” A fingerprint sensor used to be displayed on my Huawei P20 so I knew when to place my finger when signing in. My problem is; your app no longer shows me where you want me to place my fingerprint. Your app is requesting me to place my fingerprint on the sensor but it doesn’t show me where the sensor is. This is a problem with your mobile application and the compatibility with the Huawei P30 Pro. DO NOT UNDERMINE MY INTELLIGENCE BY REFERRING ME TO THE USER MANUAL FOR THE PARTICULAR HANDSET. Test the compatibility properly, please.
