DO NOT SAVE YOUR EMERGENCY MONEY WITH STANDARD BANK, YOU WILL CRY TEARS

Please do not save your money with Standard Bank, because they will leave you dry and hanging when you need them the most. I have an emergency savings with this bank, and due to the ***** and ******* activities thats been happening, of people being kidnapped and asked to log in to the banking app and transfer their hard earned money, i had to uninstall the app and put my banking card at a safe place, knowing that i have an online banking profile. I have been using the online banking for a long time now without problems. Fast foward last night i was stranded (In an emergency) and wanted to use the money, i try to log in on the online banking, they telling me to authenticate myself using the app, i do not have the app, what the **** is this... i then had to wait for morning so that i can call the bank, i called the bank and explained that i do not have the app and my card with me, i am stranded where i am. i only have my laptop(the one that ive always used for internet banking) guess what, the banker told me that hes gonna help me, and he reset my profile. i tried to log in on my online banking and this time around they asked for the OTP, mind you i have a username and a password, then i am asked for the OTP which i gladly provided, and guess what they wanted for extra security measures, my card!! which i do not have with me right now. i am nowhere near my house and i do not have the card, meaning that i can not access my money. waaaawza, standard bank!!! you are really REALLY PATHETIC. I am beyond dissapointed with your ****en extra security that you are putting that end up inconviniencing us. this is BULL****!!!!!
