DISHONEST AND SHAMELESS KEEP CHARGING INTEREST AND REFUSES TO CLOSE ACCOUNT

i have been trying to close my credit card from the beginning of the month and i am not receiving any assistance. everytime i call i am being put on hold and when i do speak to someone they keep advising that i owe them interest. they are ****s and are robbing people. they do not want to close accounts because they keep wanting to charge interest. i have tried 2 times today and all the notes on their system are incorrect. they even advised taht if i dont close my account i will be charged interested and they do not even know how to explain the interest they pay cos they put me on hold with no answers. i want my credit card closed today and stop charging me interest when i have paid up the settlement balance.
