DISGUSTING PATHETIC POOR SERVICE
I have had no joy after signing up for the elite plus cheque account for R95 a month. from day 1, I have done everything required of me. my account was fica locked due to my documents not being uploaded by staff. nobody called me to inform me.I notice I was being charged for every transaction I did when I chose this account due to it having free unlimited electronic transactions. when querying it at customer services. nobody including management could tell me why or what was happening. I was then refunded for the charges. month 2, same thing happened and was told my branch needs to fix it. they refused to help. for a month nobody got back to me.i by this time was in a minus R500 on balance. I sent a formal complaint through to heads of standard bank and was called by branch manager elize .went to branch and had a meeting with her. she told me I was on a pay as u transact account and she has made sure that I am on the elite plus cheque acc. printed me a pricing guide to show whats free and whats charged for, I also signed for it. charges were reversed again. went back and tested it. sent a instant money voucher to myself, was charged for it. called elize and she refused to help me

I can confirm that this matter was addressed in detail. You met with the branch manager Elize to address the service breakdown you experienced and you were educated with regards to the fees charged under the plus option.
As a goodwill gesture all fees were reversed on your account for the last two months.
Instant money does not form part of the transactions covered under the monthly fee for your cheque accounts. A standard fee of R9.95 is charged for instant money transactions irespective of the type of account or pricing structure of the account you hold.
