Disgusting how they treat a client of 25 Years

I had a business that we liquidated a couple of years back. I was held personally responsible for the Standard Bank liabilities and we paid the larger loan back. Then there was a smaller amount that was due on the overdraft and they issued summons to an address we have not been in since 2007. Despite me banking personally with Standard bank and all my details being correct on their system they still issue summons on an address from 15 years ago and somehow cannot contact me.

So a judgment appears on my name in November 2021. I immediately instruct my lawyers to pay it and it takes the attorneys of Standard bank almost six months to send the settlement letter. We pay the full amount on early June. Now my lawyers have been waiting for months to get consent documents to have the judgment rescinded. Despite numerous requests from my attorneys, nothing has been done.

It's disgusting how little they care for a client of theirs who has been with them for over 25 years. This is not personal defaults, but sureties on failed businesses during Covid and now i have had a judgment for almost a year despite every effort to pay it, which I eventually did and now who cares about me honouring my side.

It would never have gone to judgment if they just bothered to look on their system where I actually lived and called me. Just disgusting all around Standard Bank.
