DISGUSTED IN HOME LOAN "HOLIDAY PAYMENT" REQUEST
When I bought my house 6yrs ago Standard Bank told us that if you lose your job they will offer you a 3months "holiday payment" well this is the biggest load of bull. Talk about kicking you when you at your lowest. I app**** for this and all they offer is to bring my payment down from R8200 to R4100. With what money do they expect me to pay this if I dont receive an income? My wifes salary isnt even enough to cover this before or after she has paid her expenses. They also got the cheek to let me know that they will be sending an assessor to come value my house for a "quick sale". I DONT WANT TO SELL MY HOUSE, I JUST NEED HELP TILL I FIND ANOTHER JOB. I wouldnt advise anyone to take a Standard Bank home loan or believe Standard Bank when they say they will grant you a "holiday payment". Im totally disgusted in their service after being a client of theirs since 2003.
