************** against old people
Standard bank changed the rules for their Ucount Rewards. They decided to reduce the points if a debit card was used instead of a credit card. I only have a debit and cheque card.

I wanted to get maximum points for my spend each month so I app**** for a credit card.. This was refused to me, not because of my credit or income...which is fortunately very good but because I cannot produce a salary pays lip.

I have been with Standard bank for 30 years, paid all costs for a bond and various accounts and now because I am old and financially secure they don't want my business.

I wrote to dispute Resolution on 20/12/2014. I handed it in at the branch leaving a copy with them. I have a copy stamped and signed and not even an acknowledgment of this letter.

I complained via the Internet and have had several responses, I have been asked three times for contact details and nothing further happens. I presume that I will have to go to the ombudsman but they request that I write a letter and get a response. How do I force Standard Bank to respond to me
