DISCREPANCIES IN SETTLEMENT FIGURES

I am a standard bank client. I bank with standard bank, I have my VAF with them and a home loan. However, this is not enough. I was in an accident and requested a settlement figure on the 20th August 2015 - same was sent to the insurance company. I requested another one today and received one with about R 400.00 more than the original one 9which is understandable). However, i have just discussed the matter with the insurance now and on the 28th August 2015 the insurance company requested one and they were given a settlement figure which is R 1350 more than the one I received today. I fail to see why there is a such a big discrepancy between the one I received today, which was R 1350.00 lower, and the one received from the insurance, especially since payment was made on the 28th August 2015. This is **************** and I would like an explanation, because the funds were transferred to you on the 28th August 2015.
