Disappointed with Standard Bank!!!
I am trying to purchase forex for my husband who is a German national, in SA on a valid Spousal Visa (no work authorization) and was turned down, as he does not have a job. I have been banking with Standard Bank for over 20 years, and provided all documents necessary, and they still cannot assist me. I have funds available, but as the forex is for him, who will be travelling to Germany for work, and not me, their compliance team have point blank turned me down. Absolutely disappointed with this Bank!
