Disappointed with Standard Bank

I am a loyal client of standard Bank, I had an account with standard bank since I was still in high school to date.

In December 09 2016, I transferred money via EFT from my standard bank account. Within seven days after I have deposited the money I was not satisfied with the company(Altcoin Trader ) I deposited the money to, I immediately went to standard bank to request them to reverse the money (R25 000) back to my account. When I went to the bank I had high hopes that my bank will be able to assist me, that was my last hope.

When I got to the bank in Centurion branch I was given a form to complete and I was told that they not promising that they will reverse the money back to my account as they need to get permission from the owner of the account that I have deposited the money to, but I was still surprised why would they first need permission from the owner of the account? And I was not owing a cent to that company, I did not understand why permission because I mean this is my money, all they needed to do was to just reverse the money back to my account. And I was also told that I will be charged for this reversal even if I did not get the money from that company I will still be charged.

And I also went to FNB to report the case because the money was transferred into FNB account , FNB was soo willing to assist they told me that my money is still showing on the account I can still get it back if I can do a reversal with my bank, and they told me that they can even block that account as soon as I get the case open with SAPS.

Later after a week I received a call from standard bank saying that they could not reverse the money because that company (Altcoin Trader) is refusing with the money, I mean really??? I do not owe Altcoin Trader , What I don't understand with standard bank is why do they need permission from the owner of the account but the money is mine??

Even today I have not received my money back, whereas standard bank was supposed to assist/protect me as their client, but because of their law that I still don't understand my money is gone.

Standard bank could not protect me from the **********, what kind of a bank that can not protect their clients?? My R25 000 is gone down the drain.

I am soo very disappointed, I will never ever rely on Standard bank nor ever recommend to anyone.

Regards

Siphokazi
