Disappointed and overwhelmed with the bad service received to date from Standard Bank Home Loans

I would not even give Standard Bank home loans a rating They are the worst bank ever and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, bunch of *******. I took out a bond in May 2007 for R800k My bond has no access bond I did not take out an additional bond According to my statements I have only paid of R200 and something thousand I have paid to date almost R1.5 million off on this bond and still owe over R500k? I have been paying off more than I should for over almost 2 years now I have phoned the bank to query this many times and all I get is that my bond repayment terms were changed from 20 years to 30 years and that the interest is system generated. This is absolutely ridiculous and they do not give me reference numbers I went to the bank ombudsman and they stated that I need reference numbers I have requested copies of my original contract as I was never given a copy. I was told that it would be sent to me in the mail I'm still waiting for a copy of my original contract I have been to the bank and they say that they do not have a home loans expert I have to phone the number for home loans from their website This is the most frustrating thing that has ever happened to me I feel like a victim of their incompetence and I cannot get help or assistance from anyone I have had home loans in the past with other banks and I was never ****** like this and never experienced anything like this before There's a lump-sum of interest of R150k on my account, when I asked them what it relates to they say that their legal department put it on my account When I speak to their legal department they say that it wasn't them and they cannot remove it as they don't know why it was out there it what it relates to I'm so frustrated with this bank and so sorry that I took out a bond with them all to save half a percentage in interest and yet I have paid off so much on my bond account and I am paying off more than I should. It does not make sense to me and yes in the beginning I missed maybe 4 months payments But this is ridiculous and there's no way that the interest could be that much. I should be paying just over R7k a month according to my statement, I'm paying R10k a month and have been for almost 2 years There was some months where I paid R20k a month and the interest is still over R4k a month Something isn't right here
