Disappearing funds

I work outside of South Africa but my salary is paid into both my South African cheque and forex account - both of which are with Standard Bank. I sent Standard Bank a standing order regarding the BOP details etc. There is a salary that was paid in on the 21st of April, to both accounts and everytime I have called Standard BAnk since then, I am told that there was no incoming payment made, on that date or any other date after. My employer initiated investigations with their correspondent bank and with Standard Bank and Standard Bank has responded to say they are holding onto the funds pending my BOP declaration. I have never received any email or other correspondence from Standard Bank regarding this payment, and everytime I have called, prior to my employer's intervention, to ask if the funds are on hold, I am told that there is nothing on hold. At this point I am not sure what Standard Bank intends to do with my money if they are going acknowledge receipt with my employer, but declare there is no payment when I call to enquire. Has someone within the Bank diverted the funds? Yesterday, a call centre agent told me this can only be resoved through a branch interaction, this is notwithstanding my endless explanatiosn that I am actually out of the country at the moment. This is really disgusting service.
