DETAILS TO STD BANK

A Couple of months ago I received a sms from Std Bank indicating that my FICA documents are outstanding, knowing ****** well I already wasted my time going to the bank to give them the documents. I received numerous reminders, which I ignored as I already took the documents. On Saturday 25 April 2015 I received a sms that my account needs to be reactivated and that I need to bring the documents to the nearest branch. I nearly flipped reading that because who gives them the right to deactivate my account?<br> <br> I went to the Gezina branch with the documents and told the lady helping me that I was not happy with the way Std Bank went about it. I told her to just do what she needs to do so that I can go. She then asked for other details and when I asked what details she responded in asking me what my salary was. I then asked her why, and she responded that it has something to do with the reserve bank! I told her that Std Bank can see on my bank statements what I earn, why must I go in to tell them that. She then made a copy of my ID to do it later.<br> <br> I want to know, why must we waste our time with this BS when we have already given the documents. I'm considering moving to another bank.
