demonic service rendered at Standard Bank Ekurhuleni, Letsoho shopping centre
My mother went to Standard Bank in Ekurhuleni - Katlehong branch, Letsoho shopping Centre yesterday on Monday the 18 September 2023, and the personnel informed her that she must return back the following day, without explaining in detail the reasons for not assisting her. Early this morning today on Tuesday 19 September 2023, she went back, and the very same despicable behavior continued, they blatantly refused to help her. Since she is a sickly pensioner, she was the first person to arrive this morning before it was even opened for operation because she needed to return home promptly to eat and take her medication for chronic ailments she has. The personnel that received her were extremely rude, unhelpful, unprofessional, and appalling, they embodied a spirit of the devil. How does one sum up; how would someone employed to execute their contractual duties treat an elder, even a young person in this manner? A total disregard for human dignity is espoused in our constitution. They are the representatives of Standard Bank - the face of this institution....... They said my mother had to go to another branch so far away for the very thing they were supposed to carry out.....I am angry beyond words description.....She told them she didn't have any extra money for transport to go to that branch, and she told me they contributed and gave her R15.00. When she got to that branch called Sam Ntuli, the lady personnel that received her informed her that, those despicable people, were not supposed to have let her go. Service was supposed to have been rendered for her..... I demand to know what the ethos of Standard Bank is, don't they train their staff members on humanity; which clearly, they were not taught from a young age...customer services? collegiality, respect, care, empathy, sympathy, listening skills, compassion, quality service, how blessed that they are still in the employment arena, love for the people and their jobs..... I demand for my mother to get a recourse. She is sick now at home, my dad is trying to calm her down so that she can eat and take her medication, and rest. These are the kinds of satan's behavior that you need to eradicate in your institution imminently if you still want to be in a financial institution that is groundbreaking, you will lose invaluable clients who will spread word of mouth, tarnishing your brand. I would earnestly appreciate prompt feedback regarding this matter, otherwise, we shall be left with no other option other than to take further steps to ensure that my mother receives the Human Rights recourse she deserves. Just imagine that is your mom, dad, sibling, grandparents, a person with disabilities........the list is endless. Had anything bad happened to her on the way to the other branch? Had she died, then what, who would have taken a fall for this vile, malfeasance?
