Delays in solving my ***** case
I was visiting in KZN in December 2015 and forgot my handbag which had my everything. Upon receiving my things on the night of the 19th January 2016, I charged my phone. In the morning on the 20 January 2016, I switched on my phone and all these smses starting coming through of transactions on my card. I checked my card and my card was not there. I then reported the matter to Standard Bank at Nicolway in Bryanston. I was promised by Ashwin that my case would be resolved in 6 working days which expired yesterday. From yesterday, Thulani Nkosi has been in contact with me and he says he received my case late and it will take another 6 working days. Going through my statement, I noticed honouring fees of R130.00 each which amounted to R25 610.00. That is a lot of money for the Bank not to notice the *****. I stayed with the Bank for so many years despite their expensive bank fees. Also, I was informed to go and collect my card in Sandton and I was told my card is at another Sandton branch. Like really!! In good faith and goodwill, I would like the Bank to compensate me for this inconvenience that I have experienced by reflecting a positive balance of R25 610.00 by end of today
