Delayed property registration by SB
I have a bond with the Standard Bank.In January 2015 I sold my property via an estate agent to another party. Since then the attourneys have been trying to get the title deeds from Standard Bank.There have so far been THREE requests by the attourneys , and one request my myself to have the title deeds released by Standard Bank.When the documents were eventually released a page was missing from the documents sent by the bank, so we had to start the orocess all over again! Because of Standard Bank's ineptitude, I am forced to continue paying off my bond and rates to a property I have sold over 3 months ago! I am beginning to wonder if this is not a deliberate ploy by the bank to stretch out the payments as long as possible?<br> I have banked with Standard for 41 years and have now reached the end of my patience.I will therefore be taking my buisness elsewhere.Standards disregard for professional service is now beyond a joke.<br> <br> I am appalled at the lack of proffessionalism, shoddy service and downright arrogance shown by Standard Banks performance.This property should have been registered 2 months ago.Because of Standard Ban'
