Delay in transfer and registraion of property

I signed an offer to purchase for a property in August 2014 already. I received bond approval and paid 10% deposit. The problem lies with Standard bank advising that they need to re-upload all documents due to a systems issue they had. I can understand a few weeks to catch up but we are reaching a year of waiting for them to clean up their act. I could have invested the monies paid as deposit. I feel that the service received is totally unacceptable. I have contacted the lawyers dealing with this who advised they too are awaiting feedback from Standard Bank. <br> <br> I read up and did some investigation to these \system issues".
