Delay in claim

In June 2015 I had a garage door privately installed. 2 days later it was ******<br> . Yes a large garage door ******<br> I reported the matter to the police and obtained a case number. I called the bank and informed them as well. <br> I was requested for proof of purchase which was faxed .<br> I later got a call from the consultant indicating that hand written invoices are not accepted ito banks policy. She also mentioned that the assessor also saw a set of panels of garage doors in my premises. YES this is the door that I had to replace as this was damaged while renovations were being done at my place hence me wanting to replace same in the 1st place .On the invoice were all details of the contractor including his contact details + id number.<br> A week later a senior manager called me indicating that the matter is still under investigation as the contractor cannot be contacted however they are still trying. <br> <br> I sent a complaint via the customer complaints line and was to have received feedback by 23 September. To date none has been received.<br> <br> I have been a loyal client since 1995 and if this is the treatment I am to receive I WILL take my business elsewhere.<br> <br> <br>
