Deeply worrisome

I have recently discovered that there is a debit ('BIDINS' R289.00) that has been debiting my account since April 2015. When I asked for at least 6 months dispute I was told to complete a form by Virginia Fillies from the Berry's corner branch, only to find out it was a wrong form a few days later. Today I received 2 emails, one from Lynn Jantjies informing me I would be charged an amount of R170.00 per debit order dispute older than 40 days but according to Virginia Fillies, the charge/fee is R200.00 per debit order. My concerns are firstly, this service used to be free and I think when crucial things like these change the bank has to inform its customers otherwise this is a violation. Secondly, the differences in fee amounts I was advised suggest that there is no protocol in place regulating fees and consultants make the rules as they go much to the disadvantage of customers. As a customer I have grown to pride myself in knowing how my bank functions and this cocomes as deeply discouraging slap on the face. Please help me understand why the bank would not see the need to inform its clients when services are significantly changed like the above? I prefer communicating by email.<br>
