declined vehicle finance

I have been declined vehicle finance by standard bank and when i contact the transunion credit bureau they have confirmed an excellent credit score, if the bank could assist me in understanding the reason being declined that would also help me in rectifying the problem because i believe i should know why m being declined as that could help me in rectifying problems that the bank could have picked up which were not picked up by credit union perhaps Thank you for assistance.
