Deceased quierie

I am very disappointed and disgusted how standard bank estate team treated me. My husband passed away and he had vehicle finance with standard bank. What a nightmare it has been. 2 months ago i started the process to find out more info. The local branch told me i need a letter from court to get information from the account. Good did that. But now i have to deal with the estate team. Ok told them what happened now i need to send the relevant documentation. Done. Dont hear from them in a week. After a week gone by i call again. No mam your papers need to be certified (now why did they not get back to me to say that when they got it. Why wait a week for me to call again?) Well i go get the documents certified and send it again. Same story again no feedback. I call again after a week not hearing from them. Oh sorry mam it needs to be in pdf form. Ok send it again. Emailed to asked if they get it and if its right now. No replies. A week later again i called and ok now i get to Laiken du Sart and oh now im excited coz im now speaking to someone who seems like she will help. Oh gosh my worst nightmare started. Im told i need a letter of authority from the court. The court says they need the outstanding amount first and if the insurance will pay. I go back to Laiken no she said she need that. Told her what the court said. No she said she now need this and that. The same documents i already send. I send again. She dont reply that its right or not. I follow up again no answer from Laiken for weeks. Out of desperation i go to the Stellenbosch branch and speak to EUNICE SAMUEL'S who tried her best to help me and for that im very grateful. But she could not even get through to Laiken coz she does not reply to any emails. Now it is 1month and 2weeks later.. no answer and no documents. Because according to the estate team they cant give it to me. I go to Standard bank Stellenbosch again to see the branch manager BHONGO BAVUMA. im now stressed out so badly because of this. I had to deal with my grief and this Estate team who put me through hell.. i told BHONGO my story and he tried his utmost best to help me. He called every day to give feedback on how far he got. They also send him from pilar to post. Now 2months passed already. He said mam im making this my baby now i will get it sorted for you. And he did finally get me what i need. To the STANDARD BANK ESTATE TEAM you had no regard for the grief and hurt i already went through. This was the most horrible experience ever. The least you can do is give an apology but that does not make it right though. To EUNICE SAMUEL'S at STELLENBOSCH BRANCH thank you so much for trying to help and your friendliness.

To BHONGO BAVUMA THE STELLENBOSCH BRANCH MANAGER!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for your help. It is much appreciated.

Mrs Johannes
