Deceased Estate Recoveries

My Father passed away on the 06 February 2015 - Our lawyers closed his bank accounts, unfortunately he had about R1100 owing on his credit card. With his account closed, i make contact with Standards Banks deceased recoveries division, i have twice emailed all the necessary documentation required. All i want is to settle his outstanding account, which seems a very difficult thing to do, as i have not had a response from Standard bank, by telephone or email. I DO however get called consistently by Standard Bank Credit Card division, usually by automated voice, if i do get a HUMAN on the other side, they refer me to deceased recoveries. I should just ignore the calls and never pay the account BUT i am want to settle the account, how difficult must this be.
