DECEASED ESTATE-LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK
I am Roelien, daughter of my late father Joey Booysen. Since my dad's passing 2 years ago it has been an uphill battle with Standard Bank Deceased Estate. I have done my utmost best sending all information timeously communicating regularly. But no response whatsoever. This is one dark cloud hanging over my family head. I just want to move on with my life. Truly I do. If they can just at least reply. I have been phoning and emailing for the past 2 years no response from the executor Silma Humdulay. I literally had to pay penalties because our vehicle licenses expired because the Bank decided to take their sweet time with sending and completing the documents. I had to do refinancing of one vehicles all on my own literally had to beg them to please reply to refinacing house's email and questions. The stress is unbearable I cannot sleep at times. I honestly regret that day my father moved his accounts from Absa to Standard Bank. It has been a pain. I have been nice and patient with them now I am just fed up. Two years too long. Does it take 5-10 years to resolve an estate? And it is such a small estate 2 vehicles, house that's it. What the hold up is they alone know because I don't. I resorted to coming on this platform with the hopes of getting some reply. I have worked with two agents both resigned. I honestly do not know what is happening at this department. And why you would appointed an executor of an estate and fail to reply? Horrible service. I would never bank or even let my mother open a will at this place.
