Debt review account- only one day to settle

I asked for settlements on two of my accounts. They both came to R37000. My debt councillor said that they made payments for both accounts yesterday. I asked if the settlement figures included the payments received yesterday. You would swear I was talking Greek. I still did not get a straight answer. The letters state the settlement figure is only valid for 1 day. How ridiculous is that??? And the best part you are not allowed to pay electronically. You have to go into the bank with cash. Who carries around R37000 to pay debt???? I hope Standard bank sees how ridiculous their terms are. African Bank gave me a week to settle after they gave me a settlement figure. Standard bank somebody wants to pay you your money. Why must you make life difficult. I hope your response will be a favourable one as I do not think I can make that cash payment you want
