Debited earlier than the debit date

<p>I called Standard bank to change my debit date from the 28th to the 20th as I have changed jobs. I was debited on the 19th of May 2017 which resulted to an unpaid debir order. Nobody gave them authority to debit me earlier, whenever they debit my account it comes up as NAEDO, as far as I understand the NAEDO must track and only debit when funds are available. I do not regret closing all my other accounts with them. </p> <p>Now I need an explaination as to why this happened as I did not agree that my account should be debited earlier and they should also be liable for the the charges incurred on my ABSA cheque account.</p>
