Debit order going through my account

For the past three months I have been having debit orders going off my standard bank account and called the bank requesting the details of those debit orders and they gave me the company name and the contacts relating to those debit orders. however when I call those companies they say they not debiting anything from my account. I called the bank back and informed them of this and they said there isn't much that they can do regarding that. they can do a stop order but there is not guarantee that it will stop. <br> <br> we place our money in their care yet they clearly say they cannot guarantee protection of our money and that if I wanna close the account I can do so. this is the kind of service we getting from people that are claiming to serve their clients
