Debit Order Blues

I had recently opened a Standard Bank chq account. I decided to have my debit order that is currently going of my FNB account changed to Standard Bank. I go into the branch where I was informed to write a letter requesting the change. All done, copy of my ID handed over. End of the month arrives and the debit order goes off my FNB account. Contact Standard Bank Home loans online support. They will be pleased to help me with my problem, all I need to do is supply the following information - list of details. Here is where I dig my heals in, I have been to the branch, supp**** all the information and yet Standard Bank could not do what they were supposed to do. After a month of emails end ****py replies from Standard Bank, musical chairs with help-desk staff, never the same person, I cave in and send the information they requested. get a reply they want my Standard bank account number - you have my ID, and the email trail of the information so no problem, YES problem, so I send it. All is done and we are all happy [not]. Then I get the email that broke the camels back - Kindly be advised that our Client Services Department requires a signed written request. I give up.
