Debit order agreements should never be broken

I am absolutely appalled at Standard Bank for breaking a debit order agreement for a debit order that was meant to be passed on the 25th as I signed for. You simply cannot assume that people will be paid early in December as not all companies do that. It is not up to you to decide on my behalf that you wish to debit my account early. The thing that infuriated me the most was the wording on the SMS that I had received which started with "Hi, for your convenience, your debit order will be processed on 15 Dec .... " ... Whomever chose this wording should really consider carefully that they may have in fact not done this in the customer's best interest. You should ask for my permission first as it is a breach of the signed debit order agreement and you inconvenienced me in that I had to request a reversal, which resulted in me having to endure your atrocious call centre where no-one accepts responsbility and you have to go through transfer after transfer. After speaking to 4 different people I eventually got the necessary help to have it reversed. But this is all time out of my day and cost to my phone bill. All in all, I am horrified by Standard Bank and their shocking levels of customer service. I am absolutely furious!
